Five years of Glimsen = five seasons of fall. Five falls that you and I have done together.
I started out in 2016 confessing to you that fall was my least favorite season, although there’s beauty in every season. Now I’m confessing to you that fall is my new favorite.
This year’s display of leaves has just been stunning in our area. And I cannot get enough of them. Of all the photos I’ve taken, I wanted to take 100 more. But I was driving, or I was late, or the light wasn’t right. I have filled up to overflowing on beauty.
But this post is about you. It’s about the fall beauty you have shared with me—from colorful leaves to a field of wildflowers to a stunning sunset. A few weeks ago, I focused on photos that readers had sent me in the early fall. But so many of you have sent me photos since then (and you’ve posted some that I asked for!) that I have to share these new ones.
I hope you enjoy them. And I hope you keep sending your beauty photos to me (glimsenblog@gmail dot com). And if you don’t especially like fall like I didn’t (all that orange!), maybe these will change your mind too.
Thinking of you all, my dear readers. May you enjoy these last few weeks of the beauty of fall.
