Color is my day-long obsession, joy and torment. ~Claude Monet
A favorite saying by a favorite artist depicted on my favorite umbrella.
What a colorful world we live in!
Color has been on my mind since the brilliant summer colors have faded and will soon be replaced by fall ones (I hope!). I am so grateful that our world is filled with color, and apparently a lot of other people are as well, judging by the number of quotes you can find about it. Here are a few that I especially like.
Red is passion-lit, orange is flowerageous, yellow is suntastic, pink is lipsensual, green is lifebursting, blue is skyful, purple is berrydancing, gray is cloudrainy. ~Terri Guillemets
Reds, oranges, and yellows heating up the grocery store.
A contemporary pop amid muted tones of history.
A bunch of greens bringing life to a stone wall at a shopping mall.
Deep blues above and below.
In Dublin, a door I adored.
Muted grays and browns on a misty morning.
Where have you noticed color in your life lately?
